The destination of the mountain bike tour into the Krimmler Achental valley. Marmots await you here, whistling a greeting. You must turn around here or continue on foot. To the left of the glacier, the trail leads to the Warnsdorfer Hütte mountain hut. You can spend the night or have a snack at this Alpine Club hut. To the right of the glacier, the trail leads over the Birnlücke (a pass) to the Birnlückenhütte mountain hut in South Tyrol – but that's probably too far for a day trip.
