In earlier centuries, a mule track that connected Switzerland with Italy and led over the Theodul Pass led through the hamlet of Zum See. The densely packed buildings are authentic and represent centuries of history.

Great rustic restaurant with a large outdoor area divided into several small levels and terraces. In addition, a direct view of the Matterhorn.
Definitely worth a visit - not only because of the excellent gastronomy, but also for the successful integration and preservation of the historic buildings.
PS: Advance reservation seems to make sense at least for (larger) groups.
