In the old forest house in the middle of the forest you will find a nice snack. Here you can get homemade cakes, sausages and especially small venison specialties. A classic is the kettle goulash. Children can also enjoy the sheep and donkeys that live at the forester's lodge.
The forester's lodge is open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 9am and 6pm. In summer, there is usually a longer vacation break.

The forester's lodge has a snack bar that sells drinks and snacks at affordable prices, such as a few Viennese, a slice of lard bread or cake, all for one to three euros. Likewise, you can find a toilet here.
As far as I remember, the snack bar currently only open Friday to Sunday, and in July 2017 almost not at all.
