The first climb on the classic Karwendel circuit is done when you reach the Karwendelhaus. But day trippers are also in great hands here. The view of the Karwendel valley and the western Karwendel peak is simply fantastic.

A little refreshment on the wonderful sun terrace or in the cozy, over 100-year-old restaurant? The staff is very friendly, e-bike batteries can be charged, repair facilities for hiking and biking items, compressed air pumps for all bicycle valves... mountain bikers are very welcome here!

Serviced hut of the DAV. Very well located, delicious food and with a great view in good weather and start and finish of many hikes with and without MTB.
