On the outskirts of the village, hikers and walkers will find a Jewish cemetery. The gravestones - some with legible inscriptions, others already badly weathered - bear witness to the long history of local families of the Jewish faith, which came to an abrupt and brutal end during the unjust National Socialist regime.

The common cemetery for the Jewish residents living in Brodenbach, Alken, Burgen, Löf, Hatzenport and Oberfell was occupied from 1875 to 1935. He was desecrated during the Nazi era. Of the stones that were smashed during the Nazi era, around 18 of 49 tombstones are still legible.
It is surrounded by a low hedge and has an open entrance without a gate, or the gate is completely overgrown with ivy and secured with a padlock. You just walk along the hedge to the other corner, which is open.
In 2019, adjacent bushes and trees were cleared.
