This GDR border tower was left as a memorial after the demolition of the inner German border, so that future generations do not forget this period of German history. At the covered rest area below the tower you will find boards with detailed information. Between Easter and the beginning of October, the tower is open every Sunday from 13 to 17 o'clock.
