        Park Fiction is an artistic and sociopolitical project in Hamburg since the mid-1990s. Residents of the area around the Pinnasberg in Altona Old Town and the adjacent St. Pauli demanded instead of the intended residential and office development in 1994 for the first time a public park for its densely built-up quarter. In addition, they wanted to get the launched by Rocko Schamoni Golden Poodle Club, which was threatened with demolition (more details under Antonipark). The Neighborhood Initiative, which also included social services, the neighborhood's only school and individual artists, made initial sketches for the park and promoted the project in the media. This multi-faceted collaboration resulted in the Park Fiction project.
