History and Architecture
- The parish in Strzelce was likely founded at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries, and the first church burned down under unknown circumstances.
- The current church was built in the first half of the 17th century as a wooden, single-nave structure with a log construction.
- The church has been renovated and rebuilt numerous times, which has led to the fading of its original stylistic features.
- Next to the church is a wooden bell tower, as well as a chapel and a Marian grotto, creating a charming setting.
🎨 Interior and Furnishings
- The interior is decorated with Rococo altars:
- The main altar with a painting of the Virgin Mary and Child,
- A side altar with decorative sculptures.
- An 18th-century crucifix on the chancel beam adds a sense of sacred depth to the interior.
