Mouse tower in Kruszwica - the tower is a remnant of the castle in Kruszwica, built by King Casimir the Great around 1350. The castle was destroyed (blown up) by the Swedes in 1657. The tower survived and has been a tourist attraction in Kruszwica since 1895. The tower is also an excellent vantage point on Lake Gopło and the surrounding area - with good visibility, you can see Inowrocław, Strzelno, Radziejów.

The Mouse Tower is a remnant of the great castle destroyed by the Swedes. King Kazimierz Wielki had it built here in the mid-15th century together with the Mouse Tower as the seat of the Kruszwica castellan and starost. The Mouse Tower offers a magnificent view of the city and Gopło. A permanent exhibition in the Mouse Tower shows the history of the town of Kruszwica. Source: Wikipedia
