The document states that the church "is a stone building, with a similar bell tower, covered with iron, strong." There were three altars in it: the main one in the real, cold one - in the name of the Transfiguration of the Lord; in the refectory, warm: on the southern side - in the name of the Protection of the Holy Mother of God and on the northern side - in the name of St. Demetrius, Metropolitan of Rostov. The church belonged to two stories, the stone building on the upper floor was a church and parish school, and on the lower floor - a warehouse. In the cemetery there was a stone chapel and another stone building in the corner of the church fence. The children who attended the parish school were: 31 boys and 22 girls.

In 1922, valuables were confiscated from the church for the benefit of the starving Volga region.
