"An archaeological hiking trail in the Fischbeker Heide refers to an open-air museum in the Fischbeker Heide in Hamburg-Neugraben-Fischbek in the far southwest of Hamburg, which was given to the public in 1975 by the Helms Museum, the forerunner of the Archaeological Museum Hamburg. The hiking trail leads along the largest closed group of ground monuments visible above ground in the Hamburg area. On the route restored in 2002, eleven stations explain the ground monuments created from the Neolithic to the Iron Age at eleven stations.
