It's not without reason that it was voted Germany's most beautiful hiking trail in 2014! You are actually still very close to the Hamburg city area. When you walk along these heath valleys you could sometimes believe you are on another planet. Especially in late summer, when everything here is purple, there is a natural spectacle like no other. Hiking in the flatlands couldn't be better!

The complete Heidschnuckenweg leads from Hamburg Fischbek to Celle (223 km). The section in the Fischbeker Heide is a terrific prelude. However, especially on the weekend you can be full (recreation area of southern Hamburg).
