The city park in Papenburg has developed considerably over the last 10 to 20 years and has been worth a visit for tourists and locals since the 2014 State Garden Show at the latest.

From the middle of the main canal you can reach the Papenburg city park via a chestnut avenue, which conveys the charm of the Papenburg cityscape with its numerous water courses, canals and bridges.
