A beautiful glider airfield near Fischbek Heath. In the background, you can see the city of Hamburg, and in the other direction, a stunning view of the Harburg Hills. If you cycle over the Harburg Hills to the glider airfield, the climb is very demanding on the legs and lungs, but it's worth it. There are benches at the top for resting, and you might even spot a glider or two taking off or landing. From here, it's not far to Panzerringstrasse, which leads directly into the former barracks area. This has now become a residential area.
