The village of Kibergino is located on the elevated left bank of the Nerl River.
Since the 17th century, the Predtechensky Monastery existed in the village. It had two churches: in the name of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity and in honor of the Beheading of John the Baptist. In the 17th century, the monastery had 53 peasant households and its own courtyard in the city of Suzdal in the Kremlin, which after its abolition was owned by the Archangel Monastery in the city of Yuryev-Polsky.
In 1652, the Predtechensky Monastery was assigned to the Storozhevsky St. Savva Monastery in Zvenigorod.
The monastery was abolished when the monastery staff was established in 1764.
After the abolition of the monastery, Kibergino continued to be the patrimony of the Storozhevsky Monastery. Today, in the village, on the site of the former monastery, there is a stone church in honor of the Beheading of John the Baptist, built in 1765
In the first half of the 19th century, a bell tower was built. In 1873, side chapels were added to the northern and southern sides of the quadrangle, which also encompassed most of the altar; at the same time, a drum was built and the refectory was expanded. The top of the bell tower is lost. Next to the church, a marble tombstone from the late 18th century has been preserved.
