Emmaus Church is a free parish church in Kerteminde with a branch in Dalby.

It was built in 1868 and consecrated on January 24, 1869.

The builder was Hansen from Svendborg. The church is a yellow brick building

in the shape of a cross with a jagged gables and a tower.

The altarpiece is by J.P. Bless from 1869 and depicts the disciples in Emmaus after Marstrand's painting of the Fåborg Church. A beautiful granite baptismal font is located in the church.

There is a garden surrounding the church, which also houses the rectory.

A memorial plaque on the church wall states the following:

Ole Henrik Svane lived here from 1814 to 1825.

He dedicated his work to the blessing of Christian life in Kerteminde and the surrounding area.

The congregation, which erected this memorial to him, bears witness to this.

The plaque originally hung above the door of the house at Langegade 39.

However, it was removed when the house was remodeled.

The congregation wanted to preserve the plaque and therefore placed it next to the church.
