Very beautiful castle/castle ruins located above the Wurm..
The castle ruins house a good restaurant with a beer garden.
There is also a miniature golf course and an open-air theater where events such as concerts, cabaret and cinema take place every year from May to September.

In the summer months, a wide-ranging open-air event program is offered at Wilhelmstein Castle (cabaret, concerts, cinema). The amphitheater is mostly covered with a tent construction.
The flair is really cozy in this setting and it has become a real tradition to bring your own little picnic to the events. The only downside is that there are almost no backrests in the stands.

Wilhelmstein Castle was built around 1300 as a border fortress by Count Wilhelm von Jülich. It was originally the seat of a Jülich office that included three courts.
