Very worthwhile bike path because the path does not always run in the valley floor. From time to time you drive easily on the slope and have wonderful valley views. No problem for trained and willing cyclists. For the family outing with small children or heavy child trailers already demanding.
The bike path can be used quickly. However, there are regularly confusing corners and passages where you should drive more slowly.
A little south of Rothenburg is a piece of fine gravel. Only suitable to a limited extent for racing bikes with narrow tires. No problem with slightly wider tires.

For more than 10 kilometers, this section will always follow the Neckar. No village, no cars on the route disturb the pleasure. Instead, there are many great views of the Tauber Valley and the beautiful nature. On weekends and public holidays, however, you have to expect lots of day-trippers in good weather, but the trails are usually wide enough so that you can overtake well.
