The Reinhold Messner House (RMH) is a unique cultural venue in the South Tyrolean Dolomites. It was redesigned from the former mountain station of the Helmbahn cable car at an altitude of approximately 2,433 meters and opened on June 28, 2025. Unlike the existing Messner Mountain Museums, the RMH is not a traditional museum, but rather a personal retreat and exhibition space for Reinhold and Diane Messner. It displays exclusively private objects such as works of art, sculptures, and memorabilia, intended to inspire reflection on humanity, nature, and the future.
