The "Helm-Sexten" cable car began operations in February 1981. At the time, the aerial tramway was considered particularly advanced and reliably transported skiers, hikers, and families to Mount Helm for almost four decades. In 2020, a major overhaul finally took place: The now outdated system was shut down and replaced by the modern, detachable premium 10-seater "HELMJET SEXTEN" gondola lift.
