The bridge is a nice introduction to a tour down the river Wupper. It goes without great differences in height along the scenic valley past an old Kotten (museum grinding) and appealing inns.
I came with the S-Bahn to Solingen Hbf (Ohligs). From there, it's a bit painstaking through the city up the mountain towards Müngstener bridge. But then downhill to Wuppertal and, as I said, enjoyable again towards the main station.
If the Kraxelei in Ohligs is too much can also go by bus to the bridge park.

The Müngsten Bridge (formerly Kaiser Wilhelm Bridge) is the highest railway bridge in Germany.
The steel arch bridge is part of the railway line Wuppertal-Oberbarmen-Solingen (KBS 458). This is used in regular operation of the S-Bahn line S 7 of the S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr - lack of electrification with diesel railcars. The bridge spans the valley of the Wupper in the immediate vicinity of the station Solingen-Schaberg at a height of 107 m between the cities of Remscheid and Solingen.
