The Vauluisant Museum is a museum in the French city of Troyes, dedicated to the 16th-century art of the region and to the fine arts, once a specialty of the city. The museum opened on 5 July 1948. The Hôtel de Vauluisant was built in the 16th century on the foundations of a former Cistercian monastery, which burned down in 1524 after a major city fire .
• The current building, with its characteristic turrets, was built around 1550 by Antoine Hennequin, the then tax collector .
• In the 17th century, the de Mesgrigny family extended the complex with a second wing .
• Since 1904, it has been protected as a Monument Historique, in particular the main wing and the two turrets .
