"The electoral hunting lodge Breitenbrunn (colloquially known as Breitenbrunn hunting lodge) in the Erzgebirge municipality of the same name was converted from a watchtower, presumably built in the 13th or 14th century. Today, it stands as a listed ruin and is a local landmark.
In 1891, at the instigation of the local forester, the ruins and the surrounding moat were secured, and a drinking glass from the 17th century was discovered.
