Sevelen Gorge Trail / 3.5 km circular hiking trail
On this approximately 3.5 km circular hiking trail, you can experience nature and the environment in a different way. Is a glacial mill a type of coffee machine or a chicane in downhill skiing? Why is Liechtenstein actually African? And how can more than 1,300 different animals live on a single piece of wood? Bring your spirit of discovery and enjoy the mysterious atmosphere in the Geissberg Gorge or the magnificent views of our unique mountain world.

The circular trail can be started from either the Glat parking lot or the town center near the civil defense installation. Simply follow the "Gorge Trail" markings and stay on these trails in the interest of nature and wildlife. The two other hiking trails, marked green and blue, offer a varied alternative to the adventure trail.

There is a specially designated free parking space for the Schluchtenweg, which is located directly at the starting point. It is a nice and impressive walk that is also easy to walk with children. The gorge is uphill via steps and bridges. At least not very spectacular in summer, but thanks to jungle-like vegetation. Once at the top, it goes over a few beautiful alpine meadows and then downhill on the other side. The highlight then comes in the second part. A waterfall that has made its way through pure rock like a slide. It literally invites you to put them in a tub shaped like a bathtub if the water weren't freezing cold. At the foot of the waterfall there is a picture that shows how powerful this brook can swell after a summer storm. Certainly an impressive experience.

Nice walk. It's best to park in the Schluchtenweg parking lot and then walk to the village and start there. It is more pleasant to walk and can enjoy nature more because you have to concentrate less on the way. Children should be able to walk well. Stroller never goes. At the highest point on the farm there are drinks you can buy. Good shoes. Have fun

The Sevelen Gorge Trail is really beautifully done. After rainy days, parts of the trail are very muddy, but with the necessary attention it shouldn't be a problem. Don't forget your camera and tripod if you want to take particularly impressive photos. It's worth it.

The path (mountain path T2) leads through the Geissbergtobel relatively steeply and somewhat steeply up from Sevelen; surefootedness and fitness are very helpful. You walk through pure nature, a real pleasure.
