To kick off the tourist season,
The new Ruetsbech viewing platform officially opened on May 15, 2025.
From this rock, hikers can gaze for dozens of kilometers: the municipality of Berdorf has built a viewing platform made of steel, glass, and wood in the Ruetsbech hiking area. The elegant structure, which appears to float above a high sandstone cliff, is set to become a popular photo spot in Berdorf. A wooden frame invites selfies and group photos.

In spring 2025, the barrier-free platform was rebuilt and further upgraded. Seating is located in the center, the platform is slightly exposed, and glass walls serve as railings. This provides a comfortable place to rest, even with small children, without the risk of falling.
