This is the first tunnel we encounter when leaving Jaén along the Vía Verde del Aceite (Olive Oil Green Route) and is located just a few meters from the old Torredelcampo station.
It curves for 333 meters, so we can't see the exit when we enter. However, it's well lit for walking or cycling. However, it's recommended to carry a light on your bike.
It is in perfect condition after having the surface repaired and the lighting area expanded.

This tunnel is the longer of the two between Jaén and Martos and is lit, although it's advisable to carry a bike light to help you see and be seen by pedestrians, as this is a section of the greenway that is often heavily used by Torredelcampo residents.
It is 334 meters long and curves inside, so when we enter through either entrance, we can't see the exit. Fortunately, the lighting inside prevents us from straying from the path or falling into the small drainage channel.
It was completed at the end of the 19th century, specifically in 1893, and was the last section of the complete line between Linares and Baeza, Puente Genil.
