The Roman Catholic, listed parish church of St. John the Baptist is located in Hofheim in Lower Franconia, a town in the Lower Franconian district of Haßberge (Bavaria). The church was built around 1520. The parish belongs to the Hofheim parish community in the Haßberge deanery of the Würzburg diocese.

The late Gothic hall church was built around 1520. The choir tower was only added to the east of the nave, whose walls are supported by buttresses, by Wolf Behringer in 1593. Renovation work was carried out in the same year. Its top floor houses the tower clock and the bell tower, in which five church bells hang. It is covered with a slate-covered knick-knack roof. In 1739/40 a baroque facade was added to the west, but this was reversed in 1865. The interior of the nave is covered with a wooden beam ceiling on joists, that of the choir, i.e. the ground floor of the choir tower, with a cross-ribbed vault. The organ on the gallery in the west has 30 registers, 2 manuals and a pedal and was built by Horst Hoffmann in 1987.
