The Cathedral of Ravenna or the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ (Italian: Cattedrale della Resurrezione di Nostro Signore Gesù) is a Roman Catholic church in the western part of the old town of Ravenna in Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The cathedral of the Archdiocese of Ravenna-Cervia also serves as a parish church and has the title of a minor basilica. The predecessor building of the current cathedral, the Basilica Ursiana dating from the beginning of the 5th century, was demolished in the 18th century and rebuilt in the Baroque and Neoclassical style. Since ancient times, the cathedral has been part of the ecclesiastical complex with the archbishop's palace, archbishop's museum, the cathedral's baptistery from the 5th century and the round campanile begun in the 10th century.
