The distinctive tent-like roof is the trademark of this church, consecrated in 1967 in the Ziehers-Nord district. The community center was built in the district that grew after the Second World War according to plans by the architect Herbert Rimpl, who became known in the Third Reich primarily for modern industrial buildings such as the Heinkel works in Oranienburg. After the war, he also distinguished himself with church buildings, among which St. Paul's stands out for its organization of the church space with the central position of the altar in accordance with the Second Vatican Council. From the outside, the octagonal floor plan can only be guessed at, as the church and community center are surrounded by a rectangular wall made of dark stone. The church bells are hung in a concrete frame in front of the church, and numerous other concrete details characterize the ensemble. Not to be forgotten is the monument to the "White Rose" to the north of the church, which was created by the artist and Rimpl's daughter Inga von Sternburg.
