Great round with a nice view. Counterclockwise, then you have the climb over scree, the descent on forest trails.

We took the bus to the Würzjoch Pass and didn't want to rush the circular route. Therefore, it was too late to return that evening, so we stayed in the beautiful hut on the pass (but beware, the rooms in the northwest can hear the whistling and humming of an exhaust system all night long).

The tip to go counterclockwise is a good one. We had to go down the saddle after a snowfall in September, which was not entirely safe. It would have been easier up. In addition, the clockwise ascent to Scharte is a never-ending ladder to heaven.
