ZLDR Luchtfabriek tells the impressive story of the coal mine's lifts and the ventilation of the subsurface. Fresh air had to circulate, up to 1000 metres deep.

In the introductory film you will learn about the work in the coal mine and the technical challenges that had to be overcome every day. Then you follow the visitor's trail and walk between the compressors of the compressed air plant towards the hoisting machine.
