The "Handkääs" trail has a cross country character and leads south to the Roman fort of Kapersburg. Over 3.8 kilometers, it descends 200 meters in altitude over undulating passages and small root stocks. You can easily get to the starting point of the trail on the Steinkopf by bike from the "Am Wehrholz" nature park car park in Wehrheim-Pfaffenwiesbach, among other places.
