In summer and when the weather is nice, especially in the Eltville, Oestrich, Geisenheim and Rüdesheim areas, it is quite crowded.
Otherwise it's nice to drive on asphalt or partly paved.
Unfortunately, the path directly on the Rhine between Eltville and Walluf has recently been closed to cyclists. The alternative route along the road on a separate cycle path is not nearly as attractive.

Nice shore at Öestrich-Winkel with many mooring places for boats. This section of the bank is relatively low and is initially closed at high tide.
Unfortunately very close to the noisy and busy main road.

The Rhine Cycle Path is a bomb. It can be driven on for kilometers and you can get to any place without having to cross the main road.
