The Stillenstein Gorge is five kilometers long. In some places the Gießenbach flows through an underground cave system. One of the caves is up to eight meters high, more than a hundred meters deep and has two entrances. However, the cave may not be entered in the event of a thunderstorm or rain. If you want to take a look inside, don't forget your flashlight. The Stillenstein Gorge owes its name to this cave because the Gießenbach disappears underground and is therefore still.
