Old Terneuzen is an entire street and includes Kandeelsträat, Vissteeg Toulpad, and Brugpad. There are many interesting buildings and murals.
I was told about a painting that depicts the history of the people who lived on the street. The fish represents the fishmonger, the toilet block, and a latrine that used to be located in the street. The black figures represent the city's first "Black" person, who founded the bar Porgy and Bess and hosted jazz evenings there. The musicians can also be seen.
