City tower / Kremser Gate, Stein an der Donau
The Kremser Gate is a Gothic building that was built around 1400 and was part of the city fortifications. It consists of a tower around 20 meters high with a gate passage, an 8 meter high porch (facing east) and an outbuilding with a staircase that is available to the Wachau traditional costume and local history association as a club room.
