The Arnsburger Hof was one of the large city courts in Mainz. In 1312, the property between Grebenstraße and Himmelsgasse was bought by the Cistercian monastery of Arnsburg. Since then, it has served the monks as a city court for selling their goods in Mainz. Today, the building houses the public scientific diocesan library in the seminary of the diocese of Mainz.
