The street artists around Covent Garden are an attraction in their own right (of course, sometimes better), but it pays to browse the small shops in the former fruit and vegetable hall.

Oxford Street and Leicester Square have had their turn, and now another London landmark lights up for the season. The Covent Garden Christmas show begins on Tuesday, November 13, as the latest festive fiesta gets underway. A dazzling array of lights will be plugged in and powered up, and it’ll look dead pretty.
Meanwhile, a humongous Christmas tree completes the decorations – it’s London’s biggest hand-picked Christmas tree, and stands at a whopping 55 feet tall. It’s festooned with 30,000 lights and a metric fuckton of baubles, seemingly aspiring to be seen from space.

This is a very busy piazza(Covent Garden Piazza as its sometimes called) in the heart of the westend. There is the famous Covent Garden Market, the Royal Opera nearby, St Pauls Church if you need to escape the noise. You have the colour Neal's Yard and plenty of cute cafes, bakeries, chain and independent boutiques. There is so much to do in such a small spot of London. I would highly recommend this place.
