The island is actually a small island that you can reach with a real ferry. However, the island is so small that it serves only the purpose of recreation. You can relax there in the beer garden, splashing, paddling and you feel good. And: You can marry on the island - maybe the locals call the island therefore love island? The ferry to the island runs during the opening hours of the restaurant:
May to September, Wednesday to Sunday from 12 to 21 o'clock.

You can get to the island with an electric ferry. On the island there is a nice restaurant with a beer garden, highly recommended for a break and idyllic. You can take the ferry from Kyritz to Bantikow (3, - € per person with bike)
