The stud already shaped the entire region in Fontane's time. It has been extensively renovated in recent years, so that the listed buildings and facilities are in excellent condition today.

In an exciting guided tour you will learn everything about the history of the stud and you can even take a carriage ride. Or you just enjoy the beautiful surroundings, it's entirely up to you. By the way, there are also overnight accommodations at the stud.

The Brandenburg Main and State Stud Neustadt (Dosse), founded in 1788, is one of the oldest state stud farms in the Federal Republic of Germany. It has been run as a foundation under public law since 2001.

The foundation's tasks include carrying out the tasks assigned under state law, particularly in the area of horse breeding, preserving the cultural and historical heritage, promoting measures in the general interest, tourism as a component of regional development as well as restoration, care and preservation of the listed stud farms.
