The first floor of the cultural center houses the Ethnography and Mining Museum with over 2,500 valuable exhibits. The collection consists of folk art exhibits, mineral samples, tools used in mining, furniture by the botanist Florian Porcius, who was born here, and handicrafts from the region. The oldest piece is a polished stone hammer from the Neolithic period, found in the local cemetery. In front of the portal are bronze busts depicting Florian Porcius and the Greek Catholic archdeacon Gherasim Domide, who was also born here.
