It was formerly known as the "Säubrücke" (Pig Bridge) because the pig market used to be held on the flea market island. The most beautiful thing about the bridge is the view downstream and upstream.

        The lower Charles Bridge connects the flea market to the Deutsches Museum.
        The small shops here deserve special attention, as do the Weinstadel (wine store) and the many cafés.
        Most people only come here for guided tours. I think it's an important part of Nuremberg and simply worth seeing because of the architecture of the buildings. From here, you can quickly get to the city center or the popular Liebesinsel (Love Island).
