          Recommendation: From the Schramberger City via the historic Burgweg along the Eretkapelle to the Hohenschramberg castle ruins, from there to the Felsenmeer over to the Falkenstein castle ruins. You have to try it out. If you cross Lauterbacher Strasse after the Felsenmeer, make sure that you don't miss the "Trommbach" gravel path after about 100 m to the left in the small single trail towards Falkenstein (somewhat hidden sign). It has happened to some. Then they arrived in Lauterbach.

                      Well hidden in the middle of an alpine-looking and idyllic forest area lies the imposing Falkenstein castle ruins, which consist of 2 castle ruins. The Upper Falkenstein is the oldest castle in the Schramberg area. It was built around 1150 by a local noble family from Kappel near Villingen.
                      The Lower Falkenstein is younger and represents a later structural extension (probably at the beginning of the 14th century).
