A barely known and practically traffic-free dream road leads from Reichenbach up to Schillinger Berg. The best paved, mostly with a moderate slope, in the middle part, but also times steep with about 15%. Nevertheless, the 350 meters in altitude are hardly overwhelming and the side valley is beautiful, you drive past some picturesque Black Forest farms. Once at the top you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Elz and Simonswalder valley.
In addition to Toje-vus Note: you can reach the ridge also from the stone on a usually road bike suitable piece of gravel road of about 1 km in length.

Schillinger Berg and the more famous Schwarzenberg are actually a highlight, or at least consist of only one continuous paved road. The Schwarzenberg is a bit steeper, but the Schillinger Berg section is longer - depending on your preference, more driving pleasure from one direction or the other.

The Schillingerberg can be reached either from Siegelau (Elz Valley side) or Reichenbach (Freiamter side). A few drops of sweat whether the percentage is included. From up here, however, you are rewarded for all your efforts and there is a fantastic Black Forest panorama with Rohrhardsberg, Hörnliberg and Kandel.
