The Emil main path runs from the Möllbachweiher via the Möllbergsteig in the direction of "Alte Schmelz" to the Emil main fountain.
It was named after Emil Haupt (1886 - 1949), who led the Forstamt Elmstein Süd from 19.11.1924 to 10.10.1931. Subsequently, the versatile Forstmeister was transferred to Hochspeyer at his own request.
Emil Haupt sat down u. a. for the construction of forest trails for the promotion of hiking as well as forest roads and forest roads for the more rational timber harvesting. So z. B. the lower slope trail on Möllberg, which ends at the Rehfelsen with the Möllberg cottage, the Bloskülbstraße of Iggelbach in the direction of Eschkopf and the connecting road from Iggelbach to Helmbachtal (both are now designated K 17) created. Also the monument "Ehrenfels" and the Lönshütte were built on his initiative.
Also from 1924 to 1931 he was chairman of the fruit and horticultural association Elmstein, also from 1929 to 1930 chairman of the Palatine Forest Association Ortsgruppe Elmstein.
