    Delicious, home-style Palatinate cuisine - with additional game dishes and (fresh) trout - with large portions and in a cozy dining room with a large tiled stove; very friendly service. Monday + Friday is a day off (as of Dec. 2022).
    There are no (more) overnight accommodations.

    The "Felsenkönigweg" runs (coming from the "Hornesselwiese" car park) over a small bridge at the fish ponds directly to this inn (and then on to the former forest farming settlement "Geiskopferhof").

            One looks for fresher trout for a long time. Fantastic fried! The wild card is also a treat.

              The location is great. Fish ponds and a small meadow in the valley. You can probably spend the night and stop here at "normal times".
              You can get here by car at most. Further into the valley it gets really quiet.

                      Very nice beer garden. Idyllically situated. Food was very good, homemade and fresh. The trout pond is directly opposite. Parking lots available.
