The Summer Palace combines three collection focal points under one roof. The art treasures of the Greiz Princely House, which were transferred to the Free State of Thuringia as part of a settlement in 1921 as the “Foundation of the Elder Line of the House of Reuss”, have been accessible to the public since 1922. A magnificent piece of early classical architecture (built until 1769). Beautifully decorated, it contains a museum worth seeing. Nice starting or ending point for a walk through the landscape park.
