Hello, my dear friends on your bikes. Yes. The Ulster Valley Cycle Path is beautiful! But, without the stretch of road between Aura and Mollartshof, it might feel safer. About 6 km of narrow country road, with no passable shoulder... When the garbage truck came towards me on the way there, I knew that I would have to look for an alternative on the way back. On the way back, I took a path through the fields. This runs parallel to the road and is easy to ride even without a mountain or gravel bike. I took a few photos and put them up as a collage. Top left is the entrance coming from the direction of Aura. Then follow 2 photos of the bypass and finally a photo of the Mollartshof rest area. You can save yourself a few kilometers of road by taking the bypass. I'm thinking especially of people with kids or simply anyone who likes to feel safe...

@Carolina: Why don't you just specify a highlight like that as a route instead of a point? Then you can take it into account when planning. The pictures are of little help to people unfamiliar with the area when planning in advance.
