A classic Kate stands here and is even in such a good condition that she is apparently still inhabited. Katen were formerly the houses of the so-called Kätner (also called Hintersassen or Hüfner). These were farmers with only a small part-time farming, who usually had only one cow, a pig and very little land for self-sufficiency. As a rule, they worked primarily for a manor, a mansion or a castle.
