really a fantastic road with a breathtaking view! We started from Madaba, drove down to the Dead Sea and took the same route back. We were there in November and it was really hot. Make sure you take enough food and drink with you, as it will definitely take longer than planned! So start early enough. We got there a bit dark in the evening and then had problems with children throwing stones at us (which seems to happen more often in Jordan. We told our landlord about it, who reported the incident to the police and we had to give a statement the next day 😂).
Traffic was not a problem and most people were really nice and friendly (we were asked several times if they would take us to Madaba).
